We are a family run memorial stone mason company based in Glasgow and supply headstones and memorials throughout Scotland.

Our experienced memorial masons are time served fully accredited RQMF fixers holding the relevant SVQs. This allows you peace of mind that your chosen memorial headstone will be professionally fitted and will last for a lifetime.

We pride ourselves on adhering to the N.A.M.M working code of practice. Helping to deliver higher standards within the memorial trade and most importantly, in your time of need.

We aim to deliver the best quality granite hand crafted memorials and plaques throughout Scotland. Including Glasgow, Edinburgh and many surrounding areas.

What we do

Supply & Fit

Distinct Memorials are based in Glasgow and specialize in the supply and erecting of memorial headstones. We supply headstones for graves, memorial stones, war memorials, kerb set memorials, cremation memorials, Muslim memorial headstones & Chinese memorial headstones all in high quality granites. Our prices include fitting and there are no hidden costs.

Renovation & Repair

We are available for renovation and repair work within any Glasgow cemetery and can quote for any location throughout Scotland. Our services include memorial headstone cleaning, re-erecting fallen headstones, adding inscriptions / additional lettering and fitting photo ceramics to memorial headstones in the cemetery.

Bespoke Memorials

If we do not have something in our brochure or in stock that is to your taste or even if you have come up with your own unique design for a memorial, we are happy to spend the time designing a bespoke memorial tailor made and hand crafted to your individual requirements. We will make sure it is kept within the restrictions of your local council at no extra cost.

Trade Customers

Did for me you were so helpful you're advice from... picking the wording to the fantastic work done on the memorial stone for my mum you were so kind and thoughtful even helped me with some personal wording I wanted done to even putting plot no on stone at no extra cost. Used Distinct Memorials having really relied on the reviews I could find. Asked them to add an inscription and... refurbish an existing headstone including a new foundation. This company certainly live up to their reputation. What fantastic work can't praise them highly enough. Headstone looks brand new and on a solid foundation. Very friendly and helpful team with very reasonable cost. If you need this type of work then you cant go wrong using this company. great job guys.read more

I found this company just from Google search engine and read good reviews and thought their prices were best I had seen... when I checked out their webpage. Anyway i dropped in to talk to them and get a bit more information. Alistair was fantastic. Such a helpful, easy to talk to, down to earth guy who had very good knowledge. We got exactly what we wanted and more. His brother did a superb job with the headstone and it's now in place in the cemetery. They are the real deal. Recently had dealings with Distinct Memorials. We knew that the headstone would take some time since it was coming from... India. Received a call in December advising us that the stone had been delivered and are we happy with the inscription we wanted, which we confirmed we were . Advised by Alistair that he would call the following week to let us know it is complete and to arrange a viewing. I was very impressed by their work and the stone. And more importantly, they advised us that it would be in place by Christmas morning. This was extremely important to us. Cannot recommend highly enough.
